Seeing Things in a Different Light

ABOUT
I love to photograph old buildings, well-loved and worn interiors, and ancient landscapes. I always try to capture a sense of enduring history.  Many of the houses I am drawn to have seen better times and are waiting to be saved, some are lived in and some have been abandonned, leaving just a hint of their occupants and their past lives. I search for the same in landscapes which have been shaped by centuries of settlements and farming.

My work often crosses the boundary between photography and painting and I enjoy exploring that element of creativity.

One of my current projects, 'A Very Private View', has a focus on much-loved family homes, creating a sensitive visual record that will pass on to future generations, or as a comforting aid for those with memory loss.
